TriZapper began in 2018 in response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School shooting in Parkland, Florida that took the lives of 17 people. The loss of so many lives around the world during mass shootings is painfully sad, particularly for children in schools. Our “why” comes from sympathy, doing what we can to help people stay safe indoors so they can go home to their family at the end of each day. We live in unprecedented times where people can’t go to work, grocery shopping, school, worship, movie theaters or virtually any public building without being at risk. Transcripts and witness accounts of these tragic events are more than enough to motivate us to provide a solution. We are taking action now to do all we can to help reduce sadness in the world.
